Yasutomo Ota

Yasutomo Ota, born in Japan in 1988, is a book artist and is currently a master’s student under Professor Sabine Golde at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. His artistic focus is on exploring books as a material. He realizes his conceptual work through text, graphics, typography, printmaking, materials, and bookbinding. His works are included in numerous collections in Europe, America, and Japan.
