Mark McClure

Mark McClure’s body of work encompasses custom surface design as well as public art, prints, sculptures, and gallery pieces, all united by his distinctive geometric style. Mark has held numerous exhibitions both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Drawing on his background in visual design and his work with ink, wood, paint, and other materials, Mark collaborates with interior designers, architects, and public institutions to bring his bold, geometric works into private and public spaces. The resulting works are based on the idea of a graphic landscape—they draw on the structural forms of the built environment and combine them with motifs such as signs, letterforms, chevrons, and other markings, resulting in a distilled visual language. Mark is also one half of Continuous Cities, an ongoing collaboration with artist Katy Binks.
